Lawrence McElheny, PE, President
Mr. Lawrence McElheny has extensive experience in the design of power distribution systems, fire, lighting, security systems, and structured cable systems for telecommunications. He has completed designs for a variety of municipal, educational and commercial facilities and leads projects to timely and efficient completion. In the role of project manager he oversees a project through every phase until completion. He has been responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating projects of varied scope. Mr. McElheny's background also includes quality control, field observation, probable cost estimates, value engineering and preparation of contract documents.
Winnie Deleon, HVAC and Plumbing Design Engineer
With extensive mechanical and plumbing design experience, Mr. Deleon provides accurate technical work to meet the client’s project needs in a timely manner. He has completed projects in a number of sectors, including telecommunications, industrial, commercial, correctional, educational, public works, researches and health care facilities. Proficient in HVAC and plumbing designs, Mr. Deleon’s skills range from schematic design to punch list. Additionally, he coordinates with owners; architects; civil and electrical disciplines and contractors. His production skills include defining the scope of work, setting the outline of specifications recommending equipment and systems, providing detailed construction designs, preparing construction documents, performing CAD drafting and printing construction drawings.
Susan Mead, Office Manager
Ms. Mead has an extensive background in the areas of human resources and office management. As Personnel Supervisor for The Grosse Pointe Public School System, she was responsible for district-wide salary and contract administration, oversaw compliance with unemployment compensation and federal educational guidelines, and staffed all nonacademic positions, including office staff, classroom assistants, and custodial workers. As the Personnel Officer for the City of Decatur, IL, Ms. Mead was responsible for contract and salary administration, ensured compliance with state and federal guidelines, and made human resource policy recommendations to city management.
Laura McElheny, BIM Technician
Ms. McElheny has an extensive background in the areas of IT technology and office management. As a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Department of Anthropology, she was responsible for data compilation and consolidation. As an intern at Archer Consulting Engineers, she assisted with projects using various applications.
